Symphogen is developing recombinant antibody mixtures, a new class of antibody therapeutics for the treatment or prophylaxis of serious human diseases.

 

The development of antibody mixtures represents a significant opportunity to select for both diversity and specificity, thereby capturing the optimal characteristics of the natural human immune response. Their development also presents a number of unique challenges, including how to develop effective methods for discovering and producing recombinant antibody mixtures.

 

Symphogen has developed two key technologies to overcome these challenges: Symplex™ is the antibody discovery platform, and Sympress™ is the reconbinant antibody mixture manufacturing platform.
